- No, the throughput would be higher IF the data you wish to transfer
- is not already packed.
- If you use it against Internet with a parallell interface, you MIGHT (in
- highl unofficial test) experience about 30% higher performance with the
- APT-modem. The reason for this is quite simply the fact that the machine
- is not busy trying to communicate with the serialport, but gulps the
- parallell data.
